Patient Relations
Patient Experience
If you are concerned about something whether it is your care, your room, your meals, your testing schedule, your visitors or anything else – please let us know without delay; and we will try to remedy the situation immediately. Be assured that you can speak to your care givers in confidence. If you would rather not talk about your problem with your nurse, you may meet with the supervisor or manager on your unit for a confidential discussion of your concern.
Please be assured that the presentation of a complaint or concern will not compromise your treatment. Our goal is to provide healthcare that is supportive of patient and family wishes, recognizing that situations and decision-making can, at times, cause conflicts in the course of healthcare delivery.
We, of course, also appreciate compliments. It is our goal to create a positive, lasting memory for every patient and family we serve. We call this delivering a WOW experience. If one of our staff have WOW’d you, please let us know by completing a WOW card so we can recognize our staff that go above and beyond for you and your loved ones. Look for our WOW boards located throughout the hospital. Another way we measure patient experience and satisfaction is through a phone or email survey you may receive after you are discharged. We truly value your feedback and appreciate your time completing the survey. Your experience matters to us and assists us in maintaining the highest standards in patient services.”.
Anytime your concerns are not resolved to your satisfaction, you may also contact our Patient Experience Coordinator directly at 530-244-5462, or our Administration Department at 530-244-5454.
