Redding, CA Paul Mazur, M.D., FACS, has been named Medical Director of Cardiothoracic Surgical Service for Shasta Regional Medical Center.
Dr. Mazur comes from Tri-City Medical Center in Oceanside, CA. where he been on staff from 2007-2015. During this time he has served as Co-Director Cardiovascular Health Institute, Cardiac Team Member at Lakewood Regional Medical Center along with a Best Practice Committee Member at Long Beach Memorial Hospital.
Dr. Mazur holds a bachelor’s of art’s degree with honors in Chemistry from Rutgers University and a Honors Graduate, Doctorate of Medicine degree from Temple University School of Medicine; Philadelphia, PA.
Dr. Mazur has a vast surgical experience includes, coronary bypass, valve surgery, lung cancer surgery and minimally invasive thoracoscopic chest surgery.
Building on a history of excellence in cardiovascular care at Shasta Regional, Dr. Mazur leadership and vision promise to enhance the health system’s nationally known and recognized cardiac program.
