REDDING, Calif. (August 28, 2024) – Shasta Regional Medical Center is pleased to announce it has welcomed Allen Stefanek, MBA, as its new Chief Executive Officer. Mr. Stefanek succeeds former CEO Casey Fatch.

Mr. Stefanek joins Shasta Regional Medical Center with robust healthcare experience, including prior time with Prime Healthcare serving as CEO of member hospital’s West Anaheim Medical Center and La Palma Intercommunity Hospital in Orange County. Mr. Stefanek also previously worked for Prime Healthcare as Vice President of Operations from 2006 through 2010.
During Mr. Stefanek’s tenure with Prime Healthcare’s Orange County hospitals, both facilities continued to achieve notable accomplishments in clinical quality and patient safety and continue to be well positioned to address the needs of the community.
Most recently, Mr. Stefanek held the position of Vice President – Chief Financial Officer/Chief Operations Officer at Advanced Medical Management, Inc., where he managed operations for a large healthcare management organization serving more than 100,000 capitated HMO enrollees.
