REDDING, CA – May 6, 2025 – As part of National Nurses Week, Shasta Regional Medical Center is proud to celebrate and honor the dedicated nurses who serve as the backbone of our healthcare system. Nurses Week, which runs from May 6 to May 12, the birthday of Florence Nightingale, the founder of modern nursing.
This week, we recognize the exceptional contributions of our nursing staff, who provide compassionate care, save lives, and support the health and well-being of our community. Nurses have always been integral to the healing process, and this year’s theme, “The Courage to Soar,” highlights the critical role nurses play in shaping the future of healthcare.
Brian Bradley, Chief Nursing Officer of Shasta Regional Medical Center, emphasizes the importance of celebrating nursing professionals, saying, “Nurses are the heart and soul of healthcare.
